What We Do
BlueSun, Inc. is a nonprofit organization specializing in placing individuals with disabilities and veterans in jobs, thus helping them to become self-sustaining.
Job development for these individuals includes vocational exploration, job search and application training and assistance, resume writing assistance, interview training, meeting with employers to advocate for client placement and job coaching to enhance job retention.
BlueSun also places individuals with disabilities in temporary jobs with public agencies to provide income, experience and references for clients. At the same time, we work with employers to find the best fit for their needs, and taking the challenges out of hiring from this population.

BlueSun Inc is currently accepting resumes for multiple, temporary Cook 1 positions at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR. Applicants MUST have one year full-time cooking experience. Job duties (but not limited to): Cut meat, reheat foods, cook soups and sauces, cook meat, cleaning, sanitation. Help Cold Side as needed and time allows: clean produce, cut produce, package produce for delivery to restaurants, make compound salads, package to-go items, deliver product to restaurants, cleaning, sanitation. Help in restaurants as needed and time allows: open, close, run register, cook, customer service, sanitation, ordering, receiving.
